My Epically Late (andlame!) '08 Review. xD

So here I am, 8 or 9 days late in writing my New Year blog. 2008 was, by far, the most epic year yet. I mean, epic in more than one sense: fail and win. But, to tell you the truth, I could really be any happier to see the tail end of a year.I’m only going to touch briefly on the worst parts of 2008, so here goes: My Dad’s crash and operation was all quite scary for me – I’m glad it ended okay, to be honest. My relationship with my Mum deteriorated. I lost a few friends, gained a couple of haters.
2008 brought the beginning of the epic times. Days downtown with the friends; all nighters with friends, sleeping all day afterwards; travelling so much that everyone got sick of keeping track where I was; getting a whole bunch of stuff I wanted; falling irrevocably and unconditionally in love; finally doing well at school; deciding what I want to do with my life, and so much more!
My friends got me through this year. I had a few fallouts with some people I never thought I would, but grew way close to others. This year (if I remember correctly), I met Regina, Perpetua, Je, Rach, Tahlia and maybe some others – tell me if I forgot you. ;] . All of these people, I’ve become quite close to and could trust with quite almost anything. I’m forever in your debt, to be honest. Thankyou guys for everything! I love you (:
I also met one girl who changed everything for me – Erin. She made, at the very least, the latter part of this year bearable. She showed me what love is. 2008 was just the beginning of our forever, though. I love you, girl. (:
I also fixed and maintained a few friendships this year, I’m quite proud of that, to be honest. To the people like Jess, Paige and Shenae, thanks guys, I’m glad we’re still friends – I hope that lasts through 2009! Love you guys!
And, to anyone I’ve mentioned until now, and even anyone I failed to mention – thanks a bunch! You guys are a bunch of epic kids, hope to stay friends with you throughout 2009 and then forever!
Well, I really can’t think of anything else to write about 2008, except that I’m glad it’s over – hope that this year is much better!
Resolutions for 2009:
- Stop biting nails.
- Lose some weight.
- Go to school more xD
- Pick up my grades, even more.
- Become less sensitive and pessimistic.
- Be less aggressive and argumentative.
- Spend less time on the computer, more with friends!
- Have more epic times with friends!
- Be happier. (:
- Sort out my problems with certain people.
- Broaden my music taste!
- Be more confident. : )
